Our Annual Open House is May 10th, from 10am until 2pm

Books & Hikes: Meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 9AM. See flyer below for a list of upcoming books for January through June 2025.

Bird Walks: First Saturday of every month with Ellen Coleman. Second Saturday of every month with Ken Yasukawa. Start at 8AM. Bring binoculars, water, and a field guide. Note that there will NOT be a bird walk on May 10 because of the Open House.

Blooms of the Season: Learn about native plants with RuthAnne Murthy. 4th Saturday of every month, meet on the patio at 9:00AM for a one-hour stroll. Bring your camera and questions.

Family Nature Walk: Every Saturday from 11AM to noon with Judy McClure. An easy 1-hour walk exploring the natural and cultural history of the area.

Hike with the Downhill Sliders: Downhill Sliders is on the 4th Monday of the month. Program for docents and friends. Docents, please check your Trails and Nuggets for the latest information. Call the nature center at 661-259-7721 for more information.

Placerita Nature Tots: Second Saturday of the month at 9:30AM. For 3-to-6-year-olds. Program lasts 45 minutes to one hour and will involve learning about the environment. Registration starts on the first of the month. Space is limited. To register: Nature_tots@placerita.org

Community Nature Education Series: Every 3rd Sunday of the month at 2PM the PCNCA provides a free educational program open to the public.

Walker Cabin Tours: Every Saturday 10AM-2PM. Most Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 10:30AM to 12:30PM. Call office to confirm at 661-259-7721.
