Bird Walks: First Saturday of every month with Ellen Coleman. Second Saturday of every month with Ken Yasukawa. Start at 8:00 AM March-November and 9:00 AM December-February. Bring binoculars, water, and a field guide.

Books & Hikes: Meets the 4th Sunday of the month at 9AM September through May, 8AM June  through August.  See flyer below for a list of upcoming books for July 2025 through January 2026. Please note we are dark for the month of December.

Blooms of the Season: Learn about native plants with RuthAnne Murthy. 4th Saturday of every month, meet on the patio at 9:00AM for a one-hour stroll. Bring your camera and questions.

Family Nature Walk: Every Saturday from 11AM to noon with Judy McClure. An easy 1-hour walk exploring the natural and cultural history of the area.

Placerita Nature Tots: Second Saturday of the month at 9:30AM. For 3-to-6-year-olds. Program lasts 45 minutes to one hour and will involve learning about the environment. Registration starts on the first of the month. Space is limited. To register: Nature_tots@placerita.org

Community Nature Education Series: Every 3rd Sunday of the month at 2PM the PCNCA provides a free educational program open to the public.

 

Walker Cabin Tours. The historic Walker Cabin is open for tours during the following hours:

Sat:         10:00 – 2:00

Sun:        10:00 – 12:00

Summer Hours. Summer Hours begin 1st Saturday in June (06/06/26) and end the 1st Saturday in September  (09/05/26)
